"Show yourself in all respects to be a model of goo works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity..." -Titus 2:7
I want to share with you the words of the Jesuit Superior General Fr. Pedro Arrupe which was paraphrased by Professor Ranilo B. Herninda of the University of Sto. Tomas:
A teacher has to be in love
for nothing is more practical for a teacher
than falling in love with his/her calling
in an almost absolute way.
When you are in love with your teaching,
it seizes your imagination,
will affect everything in your life.
It will decide what will get you out of bed in the morning,
what you will do with your evenings,
how you spend your weekends,
what you read,
what you know that break your heart,
and what amazes you with joy and gratitude.
Fall in love with your calling, dear teacher,
stay in love, and it will decide everything.
Thanks to my teachers who formed me and became part of who I am right now. God bless you my ever dearest teachers.
Prayer:
Lord, bless our parents who were our first teachers. Bless our teachers in school who gave their time and shared their love to us. Amen.
